Most people are happy to come to the church and just enjoy the services and events.  Others like to become more involved.  If you are in the latter camp, you might like to become a part of ‘The Crew’.  In which case, the committee would like to hear from you. After all, a thriving church cannot have too many helpers.

As we grow, we plan to have many teams each managing an aspect of the church’s ministry.

Just let them know what role you would like - from as little as helping with the teas or the cleaning - or even running a regular event, like chairing our services, playing the music, welcoming people into the church, etc.  (Don’t worry, we will have rosters, so no-one gets saddled every week!)

Or, perhaps, something completely new that only you could do and that would enhance the church’s appeal - or increase its reach into the wider community. Just let the committee know of your skills and they would be glad to hear from you.

And if you are a trades person - painter, plumber, electrician, carpenter, or have other technical or professional skills - don’t be shy - we might just manage to find the odd job to keep you out of mischief!

As a Crew member, you will not normally be required to go to committee meetings - but you do need to be a church member or a regular attender.  Ultimately, committee work might appeal to you and becoming a Crew member is a good way of equipping yourself for such a role.
