Anytown Spiritualist church was invented in 2015 as a virtual model for enterprising churches who are committed to flourishing rather than just surviving, via the following main themes:

Vision, Strategy, Communication, Participation, Growth, Inclusivity, Teaching, Development, Outreach and Goal-setting.

The ‘New Model’ is comprehensively covered under the tab of the same name at the top of this page.   As are the ideas for growing your church.

The rest of the site provides a pattern for churches who have no website and is available at a low cost.

What is the

New Model?

The New Model is a way of bringing our presentation to the public as a movement more up to date, vision led and effective.  

The traditional model is based on the Methodist service as it was at the time that Spiritualist churches began to spring up in the 1870s - and where most of our early members came from.

Methodism was then the most progressive form of orthodoxy, but many of its members were hungry for something more progressive still.  So, time we had a change you might think?
