Who’s on each Sunday in March 2015

Kim and Kaz, both former presidents of the church are out first visitors on the 5th April.  Because they are now busy serving other churches in the District, we rarely see them now, but the 5th is a rare opportunity.   The highly-regarded Cheryl Bennan comes to us on the 12th April.  A very popular visitor, Cheryl travels from Winchester to be with us.

Andy Ford (centre pic) is a more familiar face, being the leader of our Open Circle and a long-time associate of the church, being also a past President.

Finally, on the 26th, we have Barbara Breeze from Poole.  Now beginning to find her feet as both a speaker and a medium, following Roy’s transition to spirit, we look forward to seeing her again at the end of the month.

What’s New?

We now have official officials!  In other words, the National Executive Committee of the Spiritualists National Union has appointed the following officers to run the church:

President:  Pat Heath

Secretary:  Anthony Brown-Hovelt

Treasurer & Mediums Secretary:  Pat Farrow

Ordinary Member:  Christine Harvey

In reality, they have been acting in these positions for a year or two, during our  period under supervision, but this is the first stage of our return to autonomy when we conduct our own affairs as a democratic church.  All being well, at next years AGM, our committee will be elected by the members.

In the meantime, we congratulate our ‘new’ officers and thank them for the way they have worked so hard to hold the church together this past couple of years.  There’s light at the end of the tunnel!
