Music
With modern - and not so modern - sound systems, the finest music in the world is available to us in our churches. Why we are so slow to use it is a mystery. Here are some of many tunes that church members may already have in their CD collections. Using a PC, these can be ‘ripped’ and played through the sound system - which may be a simple stereo system from he 1980s, dug out from the attic.
The computer need not be taken to church as the programme for the evening - including accompaniment for the hymns - can be downloaded onto a small personal player and fed into the loudspeakers via the headphone socket.
